Work is a means to an end, not an end to itself In the book 'A life at work' Thomas Moore says, 'A life work can be like a peacock's tail; it has many facets as you go from one to another, you begin to see who you are, and what you might do with your life' As much as it is true, to find our ways in life or even with our professions, we have to pay close attention to the signs about when to change our jobs, when to get unstuck and re-enter the flow of life, and when to retire to a life of healing and teaching. 'True leisure is not freedom from work but freedom in work and along with that the time to converse, to ruminate, to contemplate the meaning of life'
